Who Are We?
We are the Orange County Catholic Alumni Club (OCCAC), a local non-profit volunteer organization of Catholic, single, educated, professional men and women
or others who have acquired the equivalent status in education or job related positions in Orange County, CA. Our membership is not just limited to the Orange County area; we in fact have members from all over Southern California. We are members of many local parishes around the greater Orange County area, but the organization itself is not tied to any particular parish.
We are affiliated with the Catholic Alumni Clubs International (CACI). The CACI is a non-profit organization composed of more than 30 chapters of Catholic Alumni Clubs nationwide.
What Do We Do?
The OCCAC provides a friendly setting for Catholic singles of similar educational backgrounds to meet and develop friendships with others who share their faith at a variety of enjoyable, interesting and fulfilling activities. While the focus of the club is to encourage camaraderie and friendship among men and women of similar backgrounds, the OCCAC is a singles group and not a matchmaking service. But dating and marriages do and have occurred between members who have met at our wonderful events.
What We Offer
The OCCAC offers a wide variety of activities which include religious, social, community service, athletic, and travel events that members can choose from. The OCCAC Board Members host dances and fundraisers several times a year, along with monthly board meetings where members are invited to attend and help us to plan our social calendar and volunteer. Each member is encouraged to participate by sponsoring an activity at least once a year. Other CAC events include the Regional Weekends and the National Convention Sponsored by the CACI.
